The medical device industry is upset about the new medical device tax. Congress was very clever in passing a tax that is not going to get much push back from the general population. After all, the medical device industry has more cash than they know what to do with, right? As a result, the government now has a new bureaucracy to administrate a questionable tax that:
– Taxes devices that help make you healthy (instead of things that make you ill).
– Taxes things that the government then has to pay for. Does this mean that the money just flows around in a circle, helping no one? Am I missing something here?
